Artists

Brooke Fraser

Brooke Fraser

As we welcome her back to the New Zealand stage for the first time in three years, Brooke’s live show, peppered with her trademark quirky humour and honesty, is one of the most pleasurable ways to hear her beautiful tunes.

2011 dawns as the most exciting and biggest year in Brooke Fraser’s career since she signed her first record deal eight years ago. Then, an 18 year-old from Naenae about to make an album in Auckland; now, facing her destiny as one of those ‘singer songwriter of a generation’ artists…

Brooke’s third album “Flags”, released in October 2010, has just made an impressive debut in charts around the world. Powered by her latest number one single, the irresistible “Something In The Water”, “Flags” bowed at number one in New Zealand, number three in Australia, as well as making its debut at a very respectable number 59 in the Billboard Hot 200 in the USA – where it also spent time nestled in the Top 10 of the American Itunes album chart and as the number one ‘singer songwriter’ title.

OP Shop

OP Shop
Over the past seven years, Auckland based four-piece OPSHOP has become one of New Zealand’s best-loved bands, crafting a constant stream of massive hits and two multi platinum-selling albums, You Are Here and Second Hand Planet.

It seems an age now since OPSHOP found mainstream fame with singles such as No Ordinary Thing, Secrets, Levitate, and Saturated, all popular singles from the You Are Here Album, released in 2004.
OPSHOP’s third studio album Until the End of Time, was released in August 2010 and debuted at # 1 in the NZ Official Top 40 Charts, proving time together has done nothing but enhance the band’s ability at the song writing desk, and in the recording booth.

Please Please Please postpone this event today (5th March). The weather is awful and everyone wants the last show to be one to remember for the good things, not for everyone getting sick because they’re out in the cold rain for 6 hours.
